- Members are those firms, corporations and persons who have been engaged for at least one year in the technical monitoring industry.
- Associate Members shall consist of firms, corporations and persons who are not qualified for Membership under Paragraph 3.1 but whose activity creates an interest in technical monitoring and the quality of energy efficiency installations e.g. energy efficiency manufacturers, distributors, consultants, designers, contractors and/or surveyors.
- Corresponding members shall consist of firms, corporations and persons not resident in the United Kingdom who wish to maintain contact with the activities in the technical monitoring industry in the United Kingdom.
- All applications for Membership of the Association shall be on the official form as prescribed from time to time by the General Meeting. A copy of this Constitution shall be sent to each applicant with the application form.
- Completed application forms will be considered by the General Meeting of the Association and the application approved or rejected. In the case of rejection the General Meeting shall not be obliged to give any reason for the rejection.
- Membership is automatically renewed each year unless the association is notified in writing.
